I had a customer on 2022.2 Standard. They were having the issue with the DTR where the suggested fix was to install the 64-bit update. So I did that and it had a couple of built-in product defects.
I believe one of the bugs - which the customer just called me on - is their sales tax code changed so that the NT code was flagged as subject to sales
Ordinarily I would think someone just changed this or somehow the box was checked by accident. Except that Sage doesn't allow you to check or uncheck that box. And the customer had a version 2019 backup system that I went into and in that system the box is NOT checked.
The customer only noticed this issue in the quarter starting with when I updated them from 2022.2 to 2022.6 as well as put them on 64-bit Sage 100 ( which I don't suspect was a cause of this).
I do notice that Sage has a patch for 2022.6 though the KB is increasingly not helpful in knowing exactly what the patches fix.
This is just a warning - if it's isn't broken then I no longer consider it safe or good practice to apply a Sage product update other than maybe the first update of a new release. YMMV but this 2022.6 introduced more than one bug .
And in one case the only way the customer can get a fix is by signing a pre-release agreement. All of this because I was trying to be helpful and keep the customer updated....
This all happened because while I was in doing routine maintenance I decided to "help the customer" by keeping them updated....
