Sage 100 2018.4 Premium - customer is inquiring about how to bring in a web order with authorized credit card. The trick is how to grab that credit card authorization which they apparently are having trouble with. They haven't retained me to create this link so my end, for now, is to see if there is a push in the right direction I can give. Is there any helpful info in transferring the credit card authorization from web to Sage SO?

I'm thinking you need to use some type of Credit Card Token, with their credit card merchant. Something that can be stored on the sales order in Sage 100 so that when it is invoiced, it goes out to the merchant and finalizes the Pre-Authorization as a Post-Authorization. Are they using PAYA, Century or APS? I would estimate it needs their involvement.

I would push them towards an existing integration partner like InSynch, Kissinger or websitepipeline. They've been doing this as long as I remember. The pre-auth is handled in the web store and the post-auth is completed in Sage 100. You will need to stick with Paya, APS, or Century, though.

@BillPfahnl that's exactly what I did initially. They have one of those 3rd party sites that claims to integrate ... until they don't

So the story of what they are trying to do has changed a little (I was not involved in designing this) - They want to use this third-party app to capture the credit card info but **NOT** pre-auth it - Then they save the card info to Paya Vault - Then they want to export the order (which they do now) and provide that credit card token (presumably just the CreditCard GUID - Once it gets imported to Sage they want to pre-authorize within Sage I guess my question now changes - do they just need the PY.CreditCardGUID exported and added the SO import job and will that automatically pull in the card info on the order?

We do these kinds of integrations frequently, but there are too many variables to do it on this forum. If you can call, we can discuss. posting on this

Thanks, @BobRichter I may be in touch (I actually talked to one of our mutual customers who said you worked something similar out for them as well). I was able to get the import working for an existing AR customer by also importing: CARD ID CARD GUID This was for an existing customer who already had the credit card saved in the Paya Vault via Sage 100 I'm not sure what results I'm going to get if I have only saved the card from the side of the 3rd party integration though it seems as if it should be doing the same thing. I'm hoping that just the combination of CARD ID // CARD GUID is enough to pull in the card and I don't have to run a separate import to also save the card info to the customer account in Sage 100.
