Sage 100 2018.3 - the customer is using the ALE lookup. They've added a couple fields on the end. When they go to print the lookup they do get a printout but the last two columns don't print. I ask them to try another printer. Same thing. Certainly, this could be a case of the data overflowing the line but shouldn't Sage spit out another page?

ALE can go to Excel just fine using the Excel icon. All fields export. It's just when printed that the last two fields drop from the report.

Pretty sure it's always been that way. A WAD bug.

Beth is correct. Long story short it's not the fact there are 2 extra fields rather it will only print in portrait whatever can fit in the width. Better to click the Excel button and print from there.

Login to 2013 and prove them wrong.

I predicted their response to a T "" I could give you years of invoice list printing that has those fields...

Solution: Both were correct. Sort of. Customer had the field ""Customer PO No"" in their Sales Order Invoiced lookup. This field expanded between 2013 and 2018. The excess space was not visible as Customer PO No was the last field printing on the ALE report in 2018. When we narrow the field then we suddenly get more fields to print. I don't see a way to make the narrowing of the field layout stick in ALE so told the customer they'll need to do this every time they print and ALE layout.

There is a way to make it stick. On the lookup choose Lookup Wizard or Custom. Click the Default View box. Use exactly the same columns as you they have now. After you add CustomerPONo click on the Modify button. Note the width = ""Default"". Change that back to 15 or whatever the old length of CustomerPONo used to be.
