Client has just gone live on Sage 2018.6 Premium. Various users experiencing an unexpected shut down of their client while in the middle of data entry or inquiry. Once the client session closes they have to reboot their desktop to clear the pvxwin32.exe and be able to log back in again. This is happening frequently and is seriously impacting workflow. There are firewall and anti virus rules and exceptions configured on the server and on each computer.

Has anyone experienced this scenario before and can you share some trouble shooting tips or a solution please.

I have this also going on with 2018.8 I think (could be wrong on PU#) and they also have random shutdowns.  I believe it's on the local workstation installs only vs TServer users but not entirely sure either.  They don't use their TServer very much to begin with.
Here's the smart move they made (dripping with sarcasm!):  "We have disabled our anti-virus on the server we will exclude the directories. in your doc on the desktops"  - how soon before that comes back to bite me.  Hope they have backups that have not been infected by Ransomware!
I didn't ask them to disable AV, rather sent them the document on exclusions.  There is a KB Article on the Random Shutdowns.

Look in Windows Event Viewer for program crash details.
