Sage 100 2018 Advanced - user complains that the auto logoff used to work in the prior version (2013) but now when a user hits the auto-logoff time limit rather than completely exiting Sage is leaves the user ""stuck"" in Sage as a user (presumably closing the screen) and then they have to go and kill the stray users. They use this because they have many users (20 or so) and if people forget and leave their session open then they run out of licenses (yes, I know don't forget and buy more licenses). Is there any trick to getting this to work? I've always felt auto logoff was a bit of a crapshoot.

Is a network logoff / lock kicking in before the Sage 100 logoff gets to?

I don't think so. This is a site using mostly Macs and they are all going in via RDP. I suspect people just close their RDP session and that's what is leaving the Sage running. They claim it worked fine in 2013 but broken in 2018. I was actually a little surprised that it worked since I always seem to get mixed results.

I've seen IT tinker with the auto-log off on RDP, too. But the timing seems like it could be upgrade related. (If a copy machine broke or a light bulb blew that day, it was also due to the upgrade.)
