Sage 100

Sage 100 2018 advanced install on same Windows 2008R2 server with existing 2013. Getting error 1904 failing to register Crystal dlls in C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\ starting with crtslv.dll. regsrv32 from a admin command prompt returns ""failed to load"". I have tried replacing that folder with one from a working 2018 install, no change. It does not appear to be permissions as I was able to copy the files into it. You can click ignore on the installer errors and the install completes, but you get error 200 SY_ReportCommon line 660 when you try to run any Crystal report.

I am having the same issue with a workstation install and a Sage 100 v2017 client.... have been told it is related to the c++ pre-requisites. I have resolved it yet.

UAC off and run the installer as Admin. Run the installer again and you shouldn't be prompted to install pre-req's again.

Have seen this too. Another place to look is Windows Updates for this particular issue. Can't give specific one(s), but have had applying all available resolve twice. Have also seen C++ be an issue. In one case had to uninstall, but could not get reinstalled... kept giving permissions error. Traced where installer was extracting another file to temp folder, copied that file out of temp and ran as administrator from another location. Worked. Even changing to Everyone = Full Control on temp did not. Go figure.

It took four ""update and reboot"" cycles, but eventually it was up-to-date and worked...

I think the biggest thing was it being Windows 2008R2 without the service pack 1.
