The absolute lamest 'enhancements' I have ever seen in any Sage release. Absolutely nothing of any value. Wow! Speechless.

Multiple times they refer to Sage 100 v2017 update as "" Minor Releases "" - lame. They sent in all new people for this webinar. Nobody known from product management showed up. Zero discussion on 100c or on the promos or on migration. What a brutally disappointing webinar. If Sage is looking to get their channel enthused about selling Sage 100 or Sage 100c 2017 this was absolutely the opposite of what they should have done. 45 people attending (I do not think that Sage sent this as a general email to the channel so people joining likely discovered this in MySageSell) . What in the hell is Sage doing ? Are the people in charge of this product in meetings all day or have most of them been demoted and/or let go? Wow. Just wow. This was probably the most disappointing webinar I've been to in quite some time. I have absolutely no idea how to spin this release to customers.

At least it only lasted 1 hour and not the 2 promoted, so only lost 1 hour of valuable time. Very disappointing, I don't even know how to begin to promote the upgrade to end-users. There's nothing of value that I saw.

Wander if the ACH will work if you are using APS

They mention that ACH required Sage Payments. I will be surprised if Sage does any work whatsoever to help non-endorsed integrations. That's just a hunch on my part.

Thanks for posting it, @WayneSchulz. Kind of like the 2014 release which was all about the apps they later discontinued...

What does the 'full text search do'?

I always thought it odd that ACH put all banking details into txt files. Store CC information in the Vault, but zero protection for banking data. Brilliant. Oh, and this made me chuckle. Q: What about Sage 100c and Fixed Assets pricing increase A: Is there a match for year 2? We have heard increases. Sage: We are not announcing any change in price ... Not announcing a price change does not mean there won't be one. I'm wondering what the Live Chat does. Internal? With Sage for support?

Live chat is with Sage for support and probably just about anything else that the customer could buy direct. I can report that offering live chat on your website attracts the people off=maintenance and the people who never need to call a consultant for their issues. I'm not sure what type of interaction that chat embedded within the product will gather. I'm guessing not a lot.

@PaulZiliak I wish it was yours, but it's only an improvement to the 'Find' feature on the launcher for finding tasks and settings, no data. I don't know of any clients that use this.

That's not how they presented the new search feature at Summit. I thought of xkero immediately when I saw that announced.

When/how was this webinar announced besides Wayne's post here? I didn't know anything about it.
