Sage 100 2015.02 - adding an new segment to the GL and selecting to post by warehouse by that segment. Created new subaccount values, created new accounts using them. Set the segment in each warehouse. Enter and post a new sales order/invoice and it does NOT change the new segment to the warehouse value. What did I miss?

Are you using the ""00"" warehouse account number in product line maintenance? For example, if the warehouse is segment 2, and 2 digits, (00, 10, 20) the sales account specified in product line maintenance should be 4000-00.

What is your setting in AR, Setup Options for Segment Substitution? It should be set to none.

@LisaDion - that was what I was missing, though it is labeled ""Post Sales to General Ledger by Division"" which would not intuitively lead one to think that the other choice besides ""none"" is ""warehouse"" (divisions are off in this company - I assume Yes becomes a choice if they were turned on). Thanks to all for the suggestions!
