Sage 100 2015 commission setup. Currently set at paying on net invoice, paid invoices only. Customer would like to restrict commission to only invoices with >= 35% margin and paid in full within 90 days. Anyone know of a way or existing mod to do that other than flagging it on the report and having the user edit in commission edit maintenance?

Sounds like an excellent Access project.

Actually, I did something similar with Crystal. I started with the Cash Receipts report and linked in the Salesperson Commission file. That would give you paid date, invoice date, gross margin, etc. You should have everything you need for the logic requested.

I agree. Maybe some scripting? What does Accumatica have to offer?

Do they just use the commission report or do they update the commission to AP and/or PR?

Update to other modules is unchecked. I guess the three choices will be (1) modify the commission report to flag lines that don't meet the margin or prompt payment requirements to be manually edited (2) write a program that does the editing for you and then reruns the report (3) upgrade to xTuple and its advanced commissions module

The only way I've ever been able to make use of Sales Commission in Sage is to capture the data (salesperson #, split percentage, if any, etc.) and then export it to Excel or Access at the end of the month. Or use ODBC connections, your preference. At that point, you just need to run whatever macros are required to give you the payment data you need. Of course, then you have to key the payments back into payroll or A/P. Come to think of it, if you're using Sage Intelligence, that might go a long way toward streamlining your process for you.

Ditto on the export to excel approach.
