Running MAS 200 in terminal server - I have a MAS 200 client with two locations some 5 miles apart. They connect the locations via a dedicated 30 megabit fiber connection. When running from a locally installed MAS 200 client at the remote location (not the location where the MAS 200 server is located), processing is VERY slow.
To remedy the speed issue, we have recommended that they run the client from a terminal server connected to the same switch as the MAS 200 server. The IT department wants to deploy using a shared application rather than a shared desktop. I have never used anything other than a shared desktop. The client runs MAS 200, paperless office, Star Ship, and Sage CRM. I don't understand how these applications would work together in a shared application environment but this may just be my ignorance speaking. (For some reason, I can hear the robot from 'Lost in Space' screaming 'Danger Will Robinson, Danger!' in the background somewhere.)
I'm looking for suggestions, ideas, opinions, and other general 'constructive' input.
