I want to run a script against a Master SO, as a Standard SO is being created from that Master. I've tried a few different events (header pre-write, detail pre-write, detail column MasterQtyOrderedToDate...) and the test scripts are not being triggered. (They do work if I manually edit the Master afterwards... so the scripts work, but the event triggers do not run as the Master is being updated during the Standard order creation).
Does anyone know if it is possible to have a script run as a Master SO is being updated with ordered quantities (as the new Standard SO is being saved)?
In theory I could do a header post-write on the Standard order to open a new object and edit the Master using that new object, but I really don't want to risk causing problems with the Sage programming related to updating the Master (MasterQtyOrderedToDate, LastInvoiceOrderNo...).
(Well... I did try that idea too, and it didn't work... error 88's).
