@RobertWood what is the ""openness"" of the Scripting group? Only for those who registered? https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/21260611?ref=group

I don't think it should be open to anyone who didn't make the investment to attend.

Agreed. Are you going to post that?

I agree with that if there are session specific materials. I think we should consider if there is demand that we reinvigorate the public group. I do not think anyone who did NOT attend the session is entitled to materials. I do think members are entitled to a public group. My concern is that the ""shelf life"" of this Summit Scripting group is probably fairly short. Why promote the closed group instead of funneling people to an open one?

Isn't there a scripting group already, besides the scripting class group? Is it a private one? I don't have a problem opening that one - unless there are reasons not to?

Alnoor's course material is somewhat proprietary. As such, they should be restricted to those who attended the class. If he wanted to give it away, he would have posted it in the open forum.

@RobertWood do you want me to say something on the original post?

Let's freeze that scripting group and encourage people to join the open one.

Someone should also say something in the class scripting group. For the future I think it works better to distribute proprietary stuff outside the group and avoid creating another group which has a limited shelf life.

We'll pull the plug in a month or two. It's just there for Alnoor to share updates for now.

Sounds like we are all in agreement here

Nottoli is asking if he could pay a fee and get the materials. My thought is we flip that over to Alnoor and let him handle it.

Agreed, that's an Alnoor question. Then again, what sort of fee and who gets it - 90 Minds or Alnoor or a split?

Do we want to chase it?

Just refer him to Alnoor and be done with it....

    No, not really.

As long as Alnoor doesn't give it away thus diluting the value to those who paid for it.

Agreed - let Alnoor charge if he wants. I'm fine if Alnoor keeps whatever he can get from selling the materials, etc.

While Alnoor is a giving sort, the scripting is his bread and butter. He understands the value.....
