Sage 100 2017 Advanced - customer was hacked, but it doesn't appear to be crypto.  After reinstall of Sage 100 and migrating from a backup, everything looks good except the VI jobs are not showing in the UI.  The files are there though.

Any ideas on how tog et the jobs back in the maintenance screens would be greatly appreciated.

Restore a backup to an alternate location the use the VI export utility.  Then use the VI import utility to add the jobs to the live instance.

During migration did you choose System Files? Besides copying the \VI folder that contains the VI programs, jobs, and log files, the Mas_System folder holds the actual listing of import/export jobs, and what's in the Data, Select, and Record tabs. So you could try to copy the VI*.M4T files from there. But first make a backup of the files you'll overwrite in the new v2017 system. Hope that helps.

Wonder if files other than VI files were left out.

Thanks for the ideas.  Not sure which one would work as the customer decided today to restore the whole VM - the opposite of the choice they made yesterday...this can be taken out of urgent
