**_Resolution_ - ""PVX object init failed""** (during MAPADOC-update installation, and also during a regular Sage 100 workstation setup on the server):
Per the Sage kb article, there's a number of things to try for resolving this error, but nothing worked until I got word of the attached '12-14-17-updated' article re: File Server Resource Manager (FSRM)**^**. Basically, once I manually _temporarily_ removed five specific items/files from the CryptoBlock file group (see below), I was able to proceed without error. Currently I'm unsure if it's one specific item/file that's causing the issue or if it's some combination. YMMV.
**^** A File Group setting in Windows File Server Resource Manager, on the Sage 100 Server, is preventing a temp file with a "".zzz"" file extension from being created under \MAS90\HOME\LIB\ folder
- Remove 'zzz' file type from File Group in File Resource Manager on the Sage 100 server
- Contact your Network Administrator for assistance with temporarily allowing "".good"" file types under the \MAS90\ folder
- NOTE: Look for ""*.good"" in one or more of the File Groups in File Server Resources Manager on the Server. If found, temporarily remove from list until installation is complete
**_Temporarily_ removed five specific items/files from the CryptoBlock file group:**
*.good
*.zzz
*.Zzzz
*.zzzzz
*.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzyyy
