I had a 3.6 ( no payroll or add-ons ) that I did about a year ago
3.6 ( This is just where the customer started
3.71 ( This is needed because it's the only level 4.3 converts ? )
4.3 ( I think this is needed because it's the last level to convert/migrate 3.x ? )
2017 ( If I tried to go higher than 2017 I got a message about needing to be at least 4.5 PU8 )
202x

If you are forced to go to 4.3 your going to need to do 4.4 next then 2014, 2022. If you need any of the software or product updates I have them all. Just let me know.

That was Sage's bright idea but what they didn't realize is they pulled the product update 8 for 4.5 and for some upgrades this of course was an issue. So you know me always messing with the program I checked to see how far I can really jump if needed. If I am on 4.5 I am NOT going to install 4.8. I am going to jump. Tested PR as I went as well. Now my minimum would be, if forced. If I am on 4.3, 4.4 or 4.5, I am going to go 2014. Convert my data and make sure Payroll and everything else is happy. If all goes well I am going to jump from 2014 straight to 2021 or 2022, whichever the client wants. ;)
You know Sage trying to make things more difficult then it actually is.

@Carmen Cruz what was the reason for the stop at 4.5.8?

Since you have no Payroll I would go 4.4 to 2017 to 2021. All those jumps in between are NOT necessary. ;)
