Hello Board
Following many conversations online these past few months, it became clear that the members would like more formality in terms of saving, retaining and or memorializing processes, files, updates, etc. This is not something I can do on my own. I would like to form a steering committee asap to review and develop this project. They would be tasked with the following:
- Platform Location (Google Workspace vs Dropbox vs. Box)
- Categories and what should be included (including types)
- Outreach and collaboration messaging
- Ongoing processes and policies moving forward
I have begun the conversation and outreach and need to move to the next step of scheduling a meeting.
But it has come to my attention that I need Board approval to move forward with this committee. I think it would be important to start this now as opposed to waiting for the next board meeting.
I would like to put this topic for discussion and board approval if possible.

I am hoping also enlist the assistance of Wayne through this process as well since he seems to have a great idea of what will work. Please let me know your thoughts.
