Report showing current open periods in all modules

  • 1.  Report showing current open periods in all modules

    Posted 03-18-2026 12:31

    Hi 90 Minders,

It was great seeing a lot of you at MOTM 2026 - a great time was had.

Does anyone have a report that shows the current open periods in all modules or suggestions on how to get this information easily (not having to open every module setup options).

    Look forward to your response.

    Thanks. Jacquie.

Hi Jacquie, I just created a quick-and-dirty BOI script to accomplish this.
    1) Download the attached file
    2) Open the file in Notepad and then look at Lines 9 thru 15 to set the Company Code, Sage username/password, the path to the local MAS90 folder, and the modules you want to report against
    3) Rename the file to ModuleOpenPeriods.vbs (drop the .txt)
    4) Open a command-line and type:  cscript "C:\the-path-to-the-folder\ModuleOpenPeriods.vbs"

    Should look something like this

It would be nice if Sage would just make this a standard Library Master Crystal report.

I use this at clients & I just modify for what modules they have or don't have.

Anyone have a "hack" for adding Dana's report to the Library Master Crystal Report folder?  Apparently, Sage did not anticipate anyone adding Custom reports to the Library Master module.

I tend to use CI for anything that doesn't fit well in other modules.

I use either Common Info or GL - GL because it's often a list of user keys and user names and the security for GL usually would be correct for both GL and LM

I typically put it on the GL Custom Reports menu; that is the user that typically uses it.

Does Common Information allow custom reports? I've never tried it.

Thanks to all.  I placed it under the GL Custom reports shortly after posting the ask.
