  • 1.  Repopulating AR_CustomerSalesHistory

    New framework captures Customer Sales history by period. As I remember it, old framework only kept current month, last month and last year data for customers. Client upgraded from 3.51 to 5.2 (Had to stop there because of custom). Two months after going live, they noticed they don't have monthly history from upgrade date going backwards. What I can't remember is was there an option to build/create records in AR_CUSTOMERSALESHISTORY at the time of upgrade. Did I miss it? If not, did someone create a utility that would do this after-the-fact?  Too much rust on the brain to remember details.

    I had that situation many moons ago and I think we used Crystal to get the data out of the invoice history files and do a VI import.

    Or reach out to @Randy Marion here.  Back in the 4.1 migration days, he wrote a utility for just this for the Sage Resellers Yahoo group.  I think he charged $100 per copy for this.  I last used my copy a few years back in v2014 or v2015.  Still worked like the v4.1 days.  The rebuild took about three minutes.
