  • 1.  Repay Tech Support - What a pitiful excuse for a Help Desk!

Client swapped out their EVV CC reader for a working unit.  Trying to get it registered.  Client IT said they spent 2 plus hours working with TS person to no avail.  Person did not know Sage nor apparently CC readers.

I get involved working with client IT (same one who wasted two hours last week).  First issue was figuring out the device ID.  NOT sure if this is even the correct one below.  What is puzzling also is that the screen never moved past this point.  In the past, the next step would be some feedback from Repay that the registration was success.

Brittany Dudman has moved on.  The email address was not responded to last month when I used it.  I left a message for a call back.

Any other "hacks".  Based on the screen shots, I am leaning toward a faulty replacement unit.  OBTW, client is on 2021.

You can try reaching out directly to Dylan Coombs.  It took 10 days to get a response regarding an upgrade, and Dylan finally picked up my ticket and responded.  Not sure if he can help, but it is worth a try.

For anyone who doesn't have it - the Repay support portal has some useful information about updates and important known issues - https://releases.repay.com/label/31328.

It's not going to help in this case but it's a good link to save in your bookmarks.

Customer service support update.  STILL SUCKS at Repay.  Monday will be week four since opening a support ticket.  I have gotten three "AI" emails suggesting things I told them in the previous emails.  Still waiting for a live body.  Sent a note to Dylan this AM.  To paraphrase the Energizer Bunny, "Still Waiting"....
