  • 1.  Renumbering Employees

    Have a client who reported losing Pay Rate Audit information when renumbering an employee.  When I tried to test that, on a PR 2.20 with bug fixes installed, I get this message when clicking on the Renumber option:
    "You cannot delete an employee record it the employee has existing payroll history, deduction history, earnings history, tax history."
    WUT?

    There was a bug with renumber. I think there’s a hot fix. That may only partly explain.

    @Beth Bowers - I have the same issue on my test system.  It does not let me renumber an employee, even with the patches installed.  The program ​seems to think I am trying to delete instead of renumber.  My guess is something related to JobCost also being installed.  But it happens in the ABC company that does not have job cost activated.  Here is my example from the EEC company.  Have you reached out to Sage yet?
