    Renumbered customers from division 00 to 0,1 which does not change the salesperson division number for those customers. Thought I could use the Global Customer Field Change utility to do so but it doesn't let you choose a different division in the Change To salesperson from the Change From salesperson, only to a different salesperson within that division. I want to change it from **00**-1000 to **01**-1000 but no dice. What gives?? Looks like I'll have to import them...

    Did you set up the salesperson with the new division number in Salesperson Maintenance?

    Yes i did but when you do the lookup at the Change To field, all you see are the salesperson codes without the leading division.

    Interesting. ABC company shows both the division and salesperson number in the utility.

    So if you go to salesperson maintenance, does it show the division? Would be something like 01-0100.

    Yes, they are correct. Here is my ABC Global Customer Field Change. Notice I only see other 01 salespersons.

    Mine have a between division and salesperson number. Look at AR_Salesperson in DFDM - does that look right?

    Is that the Change From or the Change To lookup? Or both, sorry?

    OK, I'm a dummy. Now I see the problem. That was the Change From, not the Change To. But I think I have done what you are trying to do in version 4.50. I'm going to have to check 4.50 just to see if I'm crazy.

    Actually, for as long as she has been working with Sage, I wonder if she is on a permanent cocktail time...

    This customer has CRM so you can see that the salesperson is 00. However, if you go into one of the 01 customers, you only see the four-character salesperson number but once you accept it, the salesperson division changes to 01 (you can see it in CRM). I understand when you create a new customer, the only salespeople available are in whatever division the customer is in - makes sense. So why doesn't it change the salesperson division when you renumber the customer to a new division??
