  • 1.  Rename MAS90 folder in v2021

    Anyone else having a problem renaming the MAS90 folder in Sage100 Standard 2021.2. This is on a standalone PC, no server involved. I have seen this with 3 different installs, including my own laptop. Nothing in task manager, no open PVX processes, nothing related to Sage100 that I can see is open. Doesn't work even after a reboot. Only way I am able to do it is by booting into Safe Mode. There is a KB but it's for v2019. Tried the resolutions on the KB anyway but it did not help. TIA.

    Sage installs a font in the MAS90 folder now, which is frustrating.  (Why?!?!?!?).

    If you try to move the MAS90 folder contents, you'll be left with just the fonts folder blocking the copy.

    I assume it's those dang fonts.  I've had some success manually installing them and then uninstalling them, rebooting, and then trying it again.  I've know I'm always able to find a way around it, because I've never rebooted into Safe Mode.

    I've started using LockHunter as of recent when Windows so ignorantly says a file/folder is open/in-use (without any further info).  I've never actually tried this re: the TinyMCE fonts issue, but I just did with my local v2019 system and received the below results.  I did not proceed but it might be worth a shot.  Typically though when I've run into this issue I would end up getting way too frustrated, and decide to just move stuff in and out of the 'mas90' folder except for the TinyMCE stuff - i.e. essentially re-creating/resetting the 'mas90' folder.
