For clients who have room, I've been bringing the companies over to the new version, but just not converting unless we have a need later. And the last few clients I've done, their current company history ended up going back to 2013! Nice.

Subject: Removing Old Versions of Sage 100 from Server
Just a heads up to be careful when deleting backup companies if they are a Sage 100 Payroll User. When we moved to current versions, I didn't convert all of my yearly Payroll backup companies. Because we haven't converted all of those YE Payroll Backup companies, I have to go back to our 2016 version to get information for ex-employees that have been gone from the company for more than just a couple of years. And for some reason (mostly reconciling their 401k Plans), that has happened a lot this year.
