Am I the only one that can't get Cisco to start? I install it and it won't do anything but download again.

Got it to work on Internet explorer. My Chrome would not work.

You would think she would know before the webinar if they were going to have shuttles.

I know they're counting on Chicago as a large regional draw - hoping for people to drive in from places like St. Louis, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Detroit and so on. The needs of those people for flights and hotels could be much less than others, so maybe many of them are not yet registered. But seriously - how do they go from 4,500 to 12,000 over the next two months?

I'm impressed @JeffSchwenk Yes, that's it. Northerly Island is immediately adjacent to McCormick Place, so it's basically right there.

The last convention I attended at McCormick place (98 or so), we landed at Mieg's. There IS something to be said about charter aviation!!! Shortly thereafter, the bulldozers appeared in the middle of the night.....

For the uninitiated, this is what the Chicago mayor does when he decides he no longer wants an airport in that spot - he'd rather have a park. Like Jeff says, bulldozers in the middle of the night and just like that - bubbye airport

Northerly Island barely has so much as a tree to hide under. Ari Crown Theater is housed right inside McCormick Place and holds 5,000. Do they have it booked as a back up? I'm guessing no.

But if the weather is great it will be spectacular. Heck, the 18th street beach is right there - so go see the Killers and bring your swim suit!

So an outside pavilion with a shelter for the band to play under. You'd think Sage would go for something more immune to weather. I can't think of too many conferences where I've seen the entertainment for a large group being outside.

Oh, just order a picnic basket from a nearby Jewel grocery store, bring some wine and a blanket to enjoy the stars and the sailboats on the lake with your friends.

Looks like fun. C'mon rain!!! For those of you that want to dash inside when it rains, take your picnic basket and blanket to the Shedd Aquarium just north of the park and plop down in the ""beach"". If you want a starry night, the Adler Planetarium is at the other end of the street.
