I think I found that you can launch a regular JE and click Copy from and select a transaction entry. But that said, in cases where it has more functionality, like a bank transfer that uses bank codes, etc., I don't know if that would work. in my client's case, though, her Transaction Journals were essentially J/E's with a different source code.
