Recently upgraded a client from MAS 90 v4.50 to Sage 100 Standard 2015 SP2. Client is claiming that SO invoice printing has a 10 second delay that was not there in the previous version. It is a heavily customized form, but it converted fine with no errors, and works perfectly except for the delay. Any ideas?

Perhaps it is using more memory. Could you adjust the virtual memory on one workstation to test?

    Any 3rd party considerations?

Does it have subreports? I had some SO forms that wouldn't print paperless after an upgrade due to slowness and when I took out one subreport (which thankfully was no longer needed anyway), it went back to as it had been.

There are no 3rd party enhancements.

I have the same thing with my client - Sage connected in and said Crystal is all .net now so heavier footprint. Customer has some slow network in general per Ping stats. Same version upgrade.

Try printing the STANDARD form. If that prints without delay, then you can focus on the form. If the delay persists, you can focus on the environment.

Are there a lot of images? or one image that has a large file size? We upgraded a client that had several images on their invoice form and it was awfully slow too. We reduced the file size of all of the images. The client also took four images that were side by side and combined them into one image. I think they changed the image type to give it a smaller footprint From .bmp to .jpg maybe?

Is the wrk file empty? If not reinit it.

Do they get a 'not responding message' or just slowness?
