We came across them back around 2006. They send you a ""ghost"" lead, which is the lead sheet data minus any data to let you call yourself. If you like it, you pay $100 and get the contact info. We bought some amazing leads from them back then. They had talked with the right person in the prospect's org, and well-defined. Originally, they were doing lead dev for larger ERP systems, and they were selling the leads that didn't fit those.
But they haven't been worth much in the past 5 years at least. There are distinct geo areas they concentrate in, and much of their lead descriptions fit more for an X3-level and Sage 100/JobOps. Worse, they have passed out leads that are so old, that the prospect have already IMPLEMENTED the solution! Now, if you don't like the lead after you pay your $100 you can return it, and they'll send you (maybe eventually) another lead that fits.
He keeps sending me ghosts, and I keep declining because they just don't fit the parameters I've given them.
I think it's a model that worked in the mid-naughties, but no more. So, Wayne, maybe he's talking to you about a different service. I don't see how he can be making anything with the quality of what I've seen.
