Received this inquiry from Tony Lorge. I believe he is based in Australia and has been trying to set up an online marketplace where users could find information about 3rd party Sage products. It sounds as if he'd either want to partner with us or have us help promote the site. Hi Wayne, I am not sure if this would be of interest to 90 Minds We have been trying to launch a Sage marketplace for some time but needing to be a commercial venture it never got traction - also we are more focused on providing platforms that running marketplaces. I do suspect though that as a 90 Minds initiative, a marketplace where it is easy to find and review add-on solutions would be well received. The old SagePSS is terrible and with the changing market new products are going to be coming thick and fast so having a central place for the ecosystem could be useful. I am not looking to flog you a platform but the site is up and running and would be happy if you saw value and took it over. There would not be any charge for it unless you decided to make it a revenue generating venture at some time or unless it got so big that the running costs became a problem. He sent me a follow-up email today: Hi Wayne, Taking a look at the 90 Minds site, the platform delivers some really good features for what is already being done plus can add a bunch of things as follows: A ""Find a partner"" function - the platform provides this but expands the features to allow a range of search criteria, the ability to upload project information and to request and manage proposals Advertising - the platform integrates to advertising servers and can serve up context aware ads Product collateral - products can be loaded up with a whole range of collateral including PDFs, Images, Video, etc. SEO - everything is designed to exploit SEO and to drive traffic and opportunities while also making it easier to find products, services and information Blogs - the system transparently integrates with your website so blogs/forums and the like form a part of the delivery (see Appxenta for how this is all integrated) Portals - creating partner profiles/adverts and products with collateral is all done through the self help portals so little of this would require effort from 90 Minds. Your effort would come in getting partners, developers and end customers to participate but you already have some of this in place You could of course also monetize this at some time in the future once you have sufficient traffic/users and products. In the mean time though it could serve as a one stop shop for information and opportunity delivery. You could also easily expand the site to include partners, products and customers for Sage 300, X3 and other products ranges. Should we do a webinar so that I can show you some of this ? Regards Tony
