Received this from a Reseller of one of my JO clients and am not familiar with the process. Is this acceptable and if so why or why not? ""The MAS system files have attributes in them called ""Embedded IO's"". These are directional pointers that redirect the program to the new BF (Business Framework) file. These embedded io's can get damaged so there is a replacement script I run. I wasn't sure if we should run the script for the Job Ops module as well. Should we run this for the Job Ops module code? (from the MAS File / Run, program SYZCON, at the prompt type (w/o quotes): ""o=new(""sy_activation_bus"",%sys_ss)"" ""print o'activate(""y/y"",""xxx"")"" (y/y represents the module code, xxx represents the company code)

I seem to recall being told to run that by JobOps support on a couple of occasions. I don't remember what it was supposed to cure though.

Rats, was hoping you'd figure this one out. :) Do you think it will hurt anything to run it @PhilMcIntosh ?

I think it just reactivates things which are already (at least supposed to be) activated, but back up the system folder just in case.

What is the behavior causing this suggestion?

Some of their reports are dropping data or duplicating data. The Reseller thought this might be something to try. I told them to give it a try. Not sure what might or might not have happened yet.
