General Consultant Discussion

Received a phone call from a Platinum user who has a question about year end closing. This person appears to be migrating away from Platinum to another system (likely not Sage). I did not go any further except to explain I did not handle Platinum and would put his info out to the group and have someone contact him directly if they could assist. The question centers around year-end closing and why his retained earnings didn't clear. Email : rghrdc@alsm.org

I seem to recall that many accounting systems don't ""clear"" R/E until you run a report for the new year.
