I hope they don't use the same company who came up with their last re-branding.

If you want to understand Sage's core problem - this graph of their market capitalization says it all. Market capitalization is present share price times shares outstanding.

It started with a pulse..............  IDK,  I could have sworn the ER patient was covered with a sheet and was being transported to the morgue waiting for next of kin to ID.

They have to spend money somewhere and we all know it's not on the software.

The problem is that Sage corporate culture is focused on image (marketing) instead of substance (the technology / products)... which is reflected in their market cap.  Sage doesn't know how to actually make software... maybe someone should tell them...?

I have no idea what they are up to, but I do think it's noteworthy that at - least in Europe - Sage seems to be going for higher profile sponsorships then I recall them doing before. Here are a couple:

    Rugby World Cup 2023: https://www.rugbyworldcup.com/2023/news/693521/sage-becomes-official-supporter-of-rugby-world-cup-2023
Naming rights on huge new entertainment venue in the UK: https://www.newcastleatmipim.co.uk/news/newcastlegateshead-quays-welcomes-the-sage-a-community-focused-international-venue-for-world-class-business-and-entertainment/

No word yet on whether or not Yankee Stadium has been renamed Sage Field.

IF Sage is making a major marketing play AND a major technology investment, that would be cool. But just typing that makes me feel silly.

Hopefully this a better link for the Sage Rugby Cup sponsorship: https://www.rugbyworldcup.com/2023/news/693521/sage-becomes-official-supporter-of-rugby-world-cup-2023

Sage also seems to be focused much more on the UK.

From observation, it doesn't seem the US initiates much strategy unless the UK starts the initiative.

Almost all of the Sage Intacct folks have released their golden parachutes.

I wonder whether breaking up regions - sort of an inverse "One Sage" - might be in the cards over a period of 3 to 5 years.
