In a few minutes I'm making live the 2020 MOTM events page and registration under the General Discussion Community.
I had to make our two preconferences separate events - I can't sell a two event registration from a single event page with multiple pricing dates (early, reg, late). The main MOTM registration page will have the links to the preconferences, but that means FOR A SHORT TIME the MOTM registration page will have placeholders for the preconference links until the system links are ready and I can link them to the main MOTM page.
An invite for registration will be EMAILED to all members of General Discussion Community - meaning all the
consultant members, affilaites excluded (affilaites get their tickets through sponsorhsips or direct invoice). The email will be sent AFTER the page is live. I need the links to the preconfernece availalbe in order to add them to the email template. I have no idea how long it will take the Higher Logic servers to generate and email the members of this community but the invite is being sent as an email not an annoucment referenced in a digest.
Information and updates will be added to the event page on a regular basis. If you begin to recieve questions/comments be supportive of our efforts to move to a single sign on solution that provides a cost effective solution for our members investment.
I will likely make a general discussion post thread too. I hope I can count on your support of this thread and any comments.
Last, there will be a blog post on the main page about MOTM, and it will be promoted through our social media outlets.
