    I don't know, I'm finding new opportunity demand at a horrific low point and its not like I'm losing to SAAS solutions...

    @MarkChinsky - If it truly is at the low point than the article is right - it will be making a comeback. I think all of the indicators are there for ERP switching to start happening en masse over the next two - five years before companies hunker down again. The cloud - whether you embrace it, hate it or avoid it - has created a shift in perception that is making people re-think what they have. It will create an amazing opportunity over the next few years. I only wish companies would stop using the term ERP. It's really a stupid term for accounting software and makes no sense for the average small / mid-sized business. My 2 cents.

    I'm not so sure that they are not talking about mostly upgrade in existing user purchases

    I'm not following your comment @WayneSchulz. I took it to read that otherwise content people using accounting software are now considering making changes. Is that what you are saying?

    Yes but that they are not necessarily making changes to new accounting systems. Some of this is remodeling and/or upgrade work.
