Does anybody have a relationship with a VAR who added Netsuite to see how its worked out for them? Only one I knew was Hightower...Oh wait...

If I was a partner picking up a cloud accounting solution, I would look at Intacct before NetSuite. I think Intacct is more dynamic, has better marketing and is more channel-friendly (although none of them are like the ""good ol' days"" of channel sales.

@WayneSchulz that was why I didn't mention DSD.

@PeterWolf you're points are correct. It, however, lacks a lot of features.

From what I remember of the demo last year, the features I'm talking about are basic features.

So to rephrase, doesn't anybody know anybody selling enough volume of NetSuite to build a successful VAR business? How are the success or failures of those projects vs. your experience with MAS90 in the past?

@MarkChinsky - that's a great question. It might be a great thing to bring up at the MoTM and we can share back information (with permission) to the general group. I think competitive intelligence is a good thing - particularly with concerns over Sage and people's desire to look at other products. I've never been convinced that the grass is greener on the other side. I think the golden age of reseller-ing is over.

I'll be helping lead the charge to ramp up the NetSuite practice here at Eide Bailly in the coming months/years. I'll let you know how it goes. I went to the Intacct reseller training in San Jose, and I thought that Intacct did a lot of things really well, and it is very customizable, and it would be a good complimentary product for a Sage 100 reseller, but for a lot of people using Sage 100, it wouldn't be a replacement.

Thanks @AaronClark Definitely keep us up on your 'diary' as you go through this journey. I know its a long road having ramped up on Epicor which is even larger than Netsuite in terms of depth and breadth.
