Diversification play?

This deal is scheduled to close right after SWK finishes their merger with ISM.

I think the likeliness to close factor also is related to how badly the acquired company needs/wants to be acquired. I'm not familiar with the company being acquired. I think SWK is on the right path to pursue proprietary offerings however I wonder if this stretches them too thin.

I was more worried about them a year ago than I am now. Looking at their financials, it seems that X3 has really reversed their financial fortune. But it remains to be seen if they'll ever fully recover from their acquisition of Hightower. The POS software is aptly named, and because they were having so many problems with it, they offloaded it to an offshore developer. It' seems to be a really bad product. Don't tell them I said so.
