is anyone REALLY minding the shop?
Just received a letter from Sage today. It arrived in a large 9"" X 12"" and addressed using a 4"" X 1.75"" plan mailing label. Hmm, I thought, are they mailing out certificates of appreciation or one that i am fully certified (i.e. paid up) on the many different hoops we have to jump through. I couldn't wait to get back to the office and whip out my letter opener............
Attached is what they sent me. I redacted the client information. A letter from our buddy Tom informing me of two clients with ""bad"" registration keys. I'm thinking, WTF, they couldn't e-mail this? These clients were fixed many moons ago.............
The icing on the cake is that they spent (in addtion to the large envelope and mailing label), $1.65 in postage, not $.45!!!! An extra $1.20 to tell me something I already know. I wonder how many other letters were sent in this manner? I suppose the larger resellers had 100's of clients, so MAYBE their method is warranted for a few. But what ever happened to e-mail?
