Ran a Java update yesterday (now at Java 7.0.450), and now opening Sage CRM, interactive dashboards don't load and can't create an import. Error on dashboards - ""The dashboards have experienced a problem."" Error on creating an import (selecting mappings) ""...Tomcat server appears to be stopped"". Checked, and the Apache Tomcat service isn't running, try to start and get error ""Windows could not start the Apache TomcatCRMTomcat 6..."" Looked into fixes for getting Tomcat service up again and it seems to be intense. Suggestions?

The first rule of Sage CRM Fight Club: don't update Java. (Although when I question the Sage CRM support guys, they say you can update it.)

You can't let Java auto update because it changes the location of the java install. Much better control of java upgrades in CRM 7.2.

Thanks all - I thought I'd need to regress back to an earlier version and turn updates. So according to this link, I have to register (free) to get the download. Then I would uninstall 7 and install 6? Why the need to register? http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/archive-139210.html
