He sent me a LinkedIn message - does not sound as if he is Sage Certified - possible with a third party ISV ? Looks as if he is former ISM, Sage employee. I explained membership requirements of Sage Certification, etc. He may know Alnoor or had discussions with Alnoor about joining.

Sounds like a good candidate. Unfortunately, he doesn't have certs and doesn't meet the membership requirements.

Hi Robert, I worked for Sage as a Sage 100 (MAS 90, 200, 200 SQL 3.71 to Sage 2018), Sage Fixed Assets, and Sage Intelligence Sr. Support Specialist for almost 6 years at the Irvine Campus (Since 2005). I initially was mentored by Regina Gutcher and then Alnoor Cassim before his departure. I taught courses at many Sage Summits and Sage Insights for the Financials modules. I mentored many Sage analysts that are very successful to this day such as Gina Thompson and Javier Guzman. I then became a Sr. Sage 100 consultant at ISM with Carla Brown in San Diego. I am still very close to Carla and the ISM family. Although I had moved away from consulting only with Sage 100, I have always stayed close to Sage alumni and the Sage City Community. Sage was and will always be family to me. I am currently researching my Sage 100 Certification renewal process and simultaneously working with Sage to have my current company become an authorized partner for Sage 100. Please let me know if you have any further questions. https://www.linkedin.com/in/rafaelcasas/ Thanks, Rafael

I think this is a no for consultant membership. Maybe for a vendor membership subject to usual acceptances.

If he gets his certs, we can ask Carla Brown for follow up info.

From Alnoor: I can only say his character is questionable. He usually has something up his sleeve (like ""hey I'm stuck can you help a brother"") and that's why I've generally ignored his every now and then ""Hi how are you doing"" communications. He fills his resume and LinkedIn resume as a multi-subject know it all but he's not. He's kind of charming and bit of a sweet talker. Character is not a requirement for 90 Minds membership but I would never be a job reference for him nor vouch for him as a product or mgmt guru of any kind.

Too many questions on his background and intentions - Alnoor's comments carry weight, at least with me. If he's been in Sage 100 world as long as he claims, he should have maintained his certifications.

BTW - I did not receive an email from him, that I can tell.
