A customer just asked: 

Ever hear of this? It sounds like it can give you much greater formatting control over Excel files output from Crystal Reports.

Might solve a few problems we're having now.

Pricing may be high, but that might be offset by the benefits the end-user sees.  Visual Cut seems to have lots of same features, at a better price point, but not as easy to use.
