They just upgraded to the latest 2020 SQL Version.

There is a field in MAS called PaymentReference that is limited to 14 characters – if we extend the field to 24 characters, will it break anything in MAS SQL?

 

We used to use the highlighted table since it's 24 characters, but the new field MAS is putting the data in is limited to 14 characters.

My standard reply: Sage fields are of fixed size (unless edited by Sage or a Master Developer enhancement). 
If you want something bigger, add a UDF.
