Question - does anyone know if when you enter a sales order or quote through CRM... Can you change the SP on the order?

I don't believe it is possible with out of the box functionality. It is set by the SP on the customer record. Is this something that your customer / prospect needs? I could investigate to see if it's possible with customization. I'm sure it is but it might be involved.

I never thought it was possible and today on a customer... They can. It's just driving me nuts because I'm used to people complaining that they can't change the SP.

Did you inherit the account from another partner? Any customizations done? What version of Sage CRM? Are they using Greytrix or Sage integration?

It's our account no prior customizations, sage integration, v2013. All I did was create a new panel in so entry and now the SP and also the master/ repeating order fields are no longer greyed out. It's just odd. It's a good thing tho. Other CRM users have complained before that they can't change those fields when generating an order from CRM

It's very strange. I wonder if it's some new service pack with new functionality? I didn't hear about it but I agree that a lot of people get frustrated with the limitations so maybe Sage has responded?

I have a customer on 4.4 with JobOps and CRM and one (and only one) user out of 15 can make that change, and she does not have different screen customizations or permissions than anyone else...

That's messed up. Desired functionality in this case is definitely a bug. Do you report it or not??

I didn't report it because neither I nor the customer were bothered about it enough to go through several hours of ""It's Sage's fault!"" ""No it's JobOps' fault!"" ""You added a UDF to the sales order screen it must be your fault!
