Question: Are we limiting the publisher to a product-only, road ahead presentation or is this open to include partner program and marketing as well? If we're giving away the time slot at no charge, we should be able to define the content. Is product-only the best possible thing for our members?

From what I remember, we were hoping that it would be product and business oriented which I think means some info on the product, strengths, markets, typical cost, typical customer profile as well as partner programs, marketing opportunities.

Yes. The idea is enhance our understanding of the products' functionality, customer segments, and pricing ""ponds."" So us consultants can understand the larger product space better, and use it to talk with customers and prospects.

In the Affiliate FAQ we posted the following: **I'm a Platinum or Gold speaking sponsor - what's a good topic?** We leave the topic up to you. Your audience is primarily Sage 100 consultants with 10+ years experience. Consider giving our members all the info they would need in order to refer your product or service - what's the typical price, who is the typical customer (good fit / bad fit). Your audience will also take this information and make referrals to other members and customers throughout the year - so be informative and provide high level details that quickly let members decide when to make a referral.

@MoiraGoggin , in these instances, the speakers are not Platinum or Gold speaking sponsors. These are ERP publishers with attendee tickets that we are asking to present.

Just providing info @BrianRice. Although I'd say a similar response applies to Road Ahead speakers.

Observation: In the past when we've guided some of the affiliates one or two of them misconstrued our ""don't make it be a sales pitch"" and gave what were essentially book reports of unrelated stuff. Giving some guidance on topic is a good thing.
