I don't know anything about the Stampi solution, but Beanworks implementations have been painless and fast. I am surprised at Wayne's experience of it taking months. All of the customers we put on it were up and running in a month or so. None have had any complex workflows required though.
No complaints from customers, and no customer has ever cancelled the service.

Subject: Quadient AP Automation (Beanworks) or Stampi?
I have a client who went live with Beanworks/Quadient in the middle of the Covid shutdown. They are a private school with a very small accounting department of one AR, one AP and one bookkeeper/controller who are active in Sage 100.
I wasn't present during the setup and configuration so I can't speak to how easy/difficult that part is. I know the CFO / Finance Director was raving about the (ease of) implementation once it was all in place. From memory I think they were up and going in under 3 months though this is obviously a smaller client. To date I've received zero negative feedback about Beanworks/Quadient from them and we've been through two upgrades.
The synchronization from Beanworks/Quadient is via a server installed synchronization tool. This is also very easy to upgrade since you do not touch any Sage 100 code. I did not have any issues obtaining the required version of the sync tool during both of our upgrades. We did not need to use Beanworks/Quadient at all on the upgrades as it was a pretty simple update of the sync tool.
During one upgrade when the AP check number expanded there was a small glitch and Beanworks/Quadient duplicated recording some of the checks by zero filling the check numbers. I'm uncertain exactly what caused this but it didn't seem to be a huge issue with the client. This did not result in any duplicate payments and was all internal after-the-fact historical info that has a small subset of check data duplicated ( possibly data that hadn't been posted before upgrading).
I can't speak about what the client is paying for this. The fact that I haven't heard any complaints and that the client tells me how much they like it makes me think this is a solid integration to consider. Ray Scarborough who was at Cimcloud for many years is working with their channel partners and I usually contact Ray with any questions and he has been great getting me to the right people in support. r.scarborough@quadient.com
At one time I had a big health care company looking at this solution. They stopped because at the time ( I think this has changed ) they weren't able to continue to use unified login with Beanworks/Quadient and that would not have flown with the auditors. I think at one point there was a lack of PO invoice matching on ROG though I think this has been added. My client doesn't use PO so maybe someone else will chime in on the PO aspect of this system.
I also think that Beanworks/Quadient captures copies of the invoices and puts them in a cloud portal. To me this looked a lot like what Altec does with their DocLink product yet it's far ( FAR ) simpler to implement and upgrade. I know BeanWorks/Quadient v Altec isn't an apple to apples comparison but for smaller customers I think Beanworks/Quadient fits quite nicely.
