Thank you both very much. I agree – we suggested new tabs, udfs, and possibly some scripting, but the client wanted to know if anything exists. Also, I definitely agree on the documenting.

I am familiar with uniPoint, having first spoken with Dean Antonakes, CEO, about 12 years ago. At one time they had an integration with MAS 90, which consisted of accessing the database to feed their database, which then did all the QC tracking. Integration with JobOps is less defined, although I know of two users that have uniPoint and JobOps. One is in aerospace and the other in medical devices which must be FDA reviewed and compliant. Those two industries obviously need a more comprehensive, formal QC function, so uniPoint fills that need.
Darin Steward, Scanco, and I just had a discussion with a current Sage 100 user that is adding Sage Manufacturing next year, and they have a new manager of QC. They are not in an industry, such as aerospace or medical where there are formal compliance requirements. Our initial assessment for them was they could probably start with UDF's, similar to what
@Joseph Jenders has done with his customers. That approach will most likely suffice for the needs they defined, which revolved around scrap and production quality, rather than formal checklist and test results requirements.
You need to document what the customer really needs before looking at a large (and costly) package such as uniPoint. I am not aware of any other software that integrates with Sage 100, so that is the solution I look at when the requirements are there.
