  • 1.  Purge Payroll History

    I would like to purge over 10 years of history from a company.  I changed the setup to 4 years and ran a period end processing.  It didn't delete anything..do I need to run a YEAR END processing???  Any other way to do it quickly??

    How many years are you retaining for W-2 data? It Hass to be equal otherwise Sage won't purge.

    I only see 1 location to place the Years to Retain History...and I have assigned the minimum 4.  

    Where is the W-2 data field??? I have never seen that

    Everything is driven by Years to Retain Payroll History in 2.x payroll. 

    Yes, purge occurs during Q4 PE.

    4 seems to be too short a retention period to me.

    Remember, there is no Perpetual History Report and the Check History Report is also limited by that history option.
