Sage 100

We upgraded a client for Sage 100 version 2022 recently. They are running the Purchases Clearing from History Report and telling us that it does not match the General Ledger Balances.

Does anyone have clients using this new report? Does it actually work? I see that there are two new tables (listed below). I think are related to this report but I don't know where to even start with troubleshooting the balances on this report. If anyone has any pointers that would be appreciated.

Well. Great question Beth!  I was assuming that but I should know better. I will find out.

Yes she does balance every month before doing PE closing and locates and corrects any discrepancies each month.

I agree, I have not trusted it so far, and to your point even reports like the A/P trial balance are only as good as the users entering data.

However, it would be a huge deal if this report actually did work. I will see if I can round up some Guinea-pig clients during year end this year and have them test it out.
