  • 1.  Purchase Requisition system

    Does anyone have any suggestions for an automated purchase requisition system?  I have a client that wants to automate their purchasing process and would like to start with a purchase request by users in the field and have it routed to the supervisor for approval and then to the purchasing agent for issuance to the vendor (and have the purchase order show up in Sage 100, etc.)  Many of the field locations do not have computers, so this would to have the mobile unit (iPhone / iPad, etc) capability.

    I have looked at Altec/DocLink, but want other suggestions.  Also, any feedback on altec would be appreciated. Thanks!

    We have a few clients using DocLink.  I was just speaking with one of our users yesterday and she said she can't imagine not having it.  Their only beef is when they need support it isn't always prompt and it comes from the pacific time zone and they are in the Eastern.

    @John Leonard, I've been working with Pararmount WorkPlace for two years now helping them with their partner channel. I'd love an opportunity to discuss this with you. ​While there is some overlap, they are not a direct competitor of Altec. Paramount's focus is around mobile and web-based requisition and procurement.

    We have a client using paramount workplace and have a kickoff coming up for a pretty significant project for workplace.  Integration with GL budgets, visibility when placing requisitions, is a big point with this client.
