  • 1.  Purchase Order Purging

    Has anyone experience issues with the P/O Period End Processing?

    My client who recently upgraded from 2017 Standard to 2019SP1 Advanced is having challenges. The "purging completed orders" window has come up and has not moved. I started it on 24 hours ago.

    No warning boxes or windows have appeared.

    I tried MAS90 mode on Friday night thru Saturday and got the same non-movement. (24hours +)

    No other users are in the system. Only 3rd party products are ScanForce, but I have stopped it from running.

    PO Header only has 3,114 records with detail of 15,361.

    Custom Office has been disable too. (*esc)

    I am running directly on the server too.

    You can try purging completed orders a day or two at a time.  You may be able to narrow the issue to a date.

    Try creating a query to pull the data in Excel. See if you get a vendor code 9 error?

    Thank you everyone.

    I ran the "checkdate" routine and corrected all the invalid dates in PO and AP, but none were in PO Header and Detail files or history tables. It finished this morning, so correcting the dates made a difference and/or I had not waited long enough.
