Purchase Agent 2016 As of the 2016 version, there will only be a single version with all features of both current versions. Previously there was a separate version which included integration with Work Order that was priced higher. This also means that there will be one price ($1,995 product, plus $375 annual maintenance). No exact release date, but by April 30 would be a safe bet. There also may be an added feature which reviews available quantities for applicable warehouses when determining the demand of bill components that are sub-assemblies. Up to now if ""Explode Bill Components"" option was selected, all components for bills for the required quantity would be identified for purchase, and those sub-assemblies in inventory would not be considered.

@JohnHoyt Maybe you know this... I have a client with many warehouses and JobOps and are considering the Purchase Agent. They enter Sales Orders for Warehouse 000, but need Purchase Agent to check ALL WAREHOUSES. Is this possible with Purchase Agent?

Simple answer is Yes. PA works similarly to CEM in JobOps, so some of the following apply to both. Here are some parameters that apply: 1. Warehouse Code Maintenance: There is a check box - ""Exclude from Purchase Agent"". All warehouses are included that do not have this checked. 2. PA complies with the Reorder Method assigned to each warehouse. 3. When the ""Use Item Default Warehouse"" in Sales Order Options is NOT selected, the demand for the component of a bill number displays in the warehouse that is assigned to the bill number on the sales order. 4. When the ""Use Item Default Warehouse"" in Sales Order Options IS selected and the component of a bill number is assigned a default warehouse different than the warehouse assigned to the bill number on the sales order, the demand for the component of the bill displays in the component's default warehouse. 5. During the actual requirements calculation you are able to select a specific warehouse. If you do not, you may further filter this down to a single warehouse from the selections matrix.
