Purchase Agent 2013 Update: The 2013 version of Purchase Agent from Synergistic/JobOps will integrate with the standard Sage 100 Work Order module. This has been a feature many have wanted, so there should be no more excuses. No word on whether the price will be the same (special pricing at $999 + $250 annual maintenance), but if a client simply wants to automate the purchasing function based on inventory levels, reorder points, open sales orders, open purchase orders and open work orders, this is an excellent tool with an investment way below Inventory Advisor.

Does it also take into account MRP forecasts? I was just looking into this yesterday.

Yes, projected demand from MRP has been in the previous versions.

Is Purchase Agent 2013 out? If not do you know when it is due?

The release should coincide with the release of JobOps 2013 in June. We have no commitment to when in June, but I'm projecting after 6/15. They have to release prior to Summit with hopefully some live installs. They may be able to release Purchase Agent 2013 prior to JobOps, since there is so much less to test.

I just visited with Synergistic and 2013 has been through QC and it is definitely releasing in June; and as John said, before Summit.
